What happens in a power cut?
Do not assume a battery keeps the lights on during a cut. Ask whether backup is included, which circuits it covers and what extra equipment is needed.
Compare two complete written options.
Ask for a panels-only proposal and a panels-with-battery proposal. Both should set out equipment, installation work, access, exclusions, handover and support. Savings depend on the actual design, usage and tariff, so no outcome is promised here.
Location matters more in some places.
